I'm here to help you change your filing requirement, nedspretzels.

Please note that the system is designed to change your schedule when you exceed thresholds. This helps you avoid additional penalties.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, choose Payroll Settings.
  3. Choose Federal taxes.
  4. Click Change or add new schedule.
  5. Click the drop-down, and select the new Filing Requirement and Deposit Schedule.
  6. Select an Effective Date.
  7. Click OK.

I get the following message and I can't bypass it- therefore I am still unable to change my filing requirement.

"Tax payments have been made for periods on or after 01/01/2019, therefore the deposit schedule may not be changed."

Any other suggestions?

It's possible that there are pending tax payments that's why you're getting this prompt, Hello16.

I suggest reaching out to our payroll support team to verify this. They have the tools to look into your account and will walk you through further on how to change your federal deposit schedule.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. At the upper-right corner, click Help.
  2. Select Contact us.
  3. Enter brief description about your concern, then, Continue.
  4. You have the option on how you'll want to connect us.

Let me know if you have further concerns. I'm always here to help.
