Nice to have you here in the Community, @haleyhankins.

In Self-Employed accounts, you can access any of your tax information in your tax checklist by clicking on the item, even if it has a green checkmark. All of this information is also under your Taxes tab. You can also access your tax filing information by selecting the gear icon and pressing Tax Profile. However, if you've submitted your data to TurboTax already, you can add the missing or new information; keep in mind that we can only send your information over once. You may find this annual tax guide helpful as well.

Please know I'm only a comment away if you have any other questions. Best wishes!

I'm having the same issue. I'm in my Tax Checklist bar, Link Your Accounts, Add Basic Details, and Update Your Tax Info are all checked off even though I have information I'd like to add. There's no BACK or EDIT option anywhere visible. Not the best UX design. And despite your answer above, I can't click on any of those previously mentioned three green checkmarks to open those sections up. So... if there isn't a simple answer to this, here's a larger question:

Can I unlink my account to Turbo Tax and start over from the beginning? That would be a massive boon, at this point.

Hi there, @bealsebub.

The three checklists on your screenshot are unclickable. This is the reason why there's no option to go back to the previous section. Instead, they only serve as mark for the tasks that you've completed so far.

Although, there's a way that you can add information to your tax checklist. Let's simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account and go to the Tax checklist drop-down.
  2. Simply click the specific sections where you need to edit or add the details.

For your second concern, we don't have the option to directly unlink your TurboTax account inside QBSE. However, you can get in touch with our customer support. This way, they can check the details of your account and unlink it from there.

Here's how:

  1. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  2. Enter the same keyword (Talk to a human) when prompted.
  3. Click I still need a human.
  4. Select between Message an agent and Get a callback.

To ensure we address your concern on time, check out our support hours.

Please also take note that you can only send your data once to TurboTax. You can run your Tax Summary report or Tax Details report to make sure that your data is accurate before sending them over.

I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Just tag my name in the comment section and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
