How do I correct the hours for an employee within QBO? If I run the Time Activities by Employee Detail report I can see where this employee's time was imported twice.

Time punches were imported from an IconTime P400 timeclock using the built-in "export to QBO" function.

How do I correct the hours for an employee within QBO? If I run the Time Activities by Employee Detail report I can see where this employee's time was imported twice.

I can help you remove duplicate time activities, bgauweiler-gmail.

 

You can correct your exported employee's time by clicking on the duplicate from the pulled-up report. Then, you can manually delete it. Let me show you how: 

 

  1. Run the Time Activities by Employee Detail Report.
  2. Click on the time to open the TIme Activity screen.
  3. At the bottom, click Delete.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.

Before you export data into QuickBooks, you'll want to review them first and just make sure not to click the export to QBO function twice. This way, we can avoid duplicates so we don't have to delete them manually in the system. I can help you remove duplicate time activities, bgauweiler-gmail.

 

You can correct your exported employee's time by clicking on the duplicate from the pulled-up report. Then, you can manually delete it. Let me show you how:

I'm new to QuickBooks and just launched my new company last week.  This was my first time ever importing and running payroll so my stress level was pretty high...
