How do I edit an employee's marital status and number of allowances for state taxes in Quickbooks online?

Let’s open your employee’s withholdings and edit their marital status from there. I’d be glad to guide you how in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account:

1. Go to the Payroll menu.
2. Select the Employees tab.
3. Locate and select your preferred employee.
4. Click the Edit pencil icon beside Pay.
5. Select the What are this employee’s withholdings? Section.
6. Then change the W-4 information of your employee. 
7. Then click Done once finished.
