How do you give employees protected access so they can enter their own time sheet

Hello rob31,

 

You can invite your employees as Time tracking only users. With this user type, they have the access rights to track their own time sheets. Here's how to invite them:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Manage Users.
  2. Go to the Users tab and click the Add user button.
  3. Select Time tracking only and click Next.
  4. Select the employee name and click Next.
  5. Enter the employee name and the email address.
  6. Click Save.

Once your employees accept the invitation, they'll be asked to create an Intuit account. From there, they can start tracking their time. You can also use this article to know more about the timesheet setup: Timesheet setup - QuickBooks Online and TSheets.
