I am the bookkeeper for a company that uses Quick Books Online and payroll. I recently signed up personally for Quick Books Self Employed. I don't want them linked.

Both are coming up when I sign in and they are paid separately and are not owned by the same people. How to fix?

Thank you for posting here in Community, @misslinnieshouse.

The reason why you seeing both of your QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-employed is, they are under one login credentials.

You can check and log in to your Intuit account to change your username and email address so you’ll have a separate email address for your QuickBooks Self-Employed.

To log in to your Intuit Account, here’s how.

  1. Log in to your Intuit Account.
  2. Click Edit, to change your User ID and Email address.
  3. Then, select Save. Once done, log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I have done this and my personal account still shows up under my employers name and he is not happy.  It even shows up with his name and he is nowhere included on the Quicken online acct.  I have to fix this or delete completely my quicken online account to remove it from the list.  Please help me.

This is not fixing the problem.  It is getting so complicated I can not figure it out.  I originally set up his company, Plus Sales for him (Russ Grantham is his name).  I am the administrator for his company.  But it is his company, nothing to do with me.

Then I tried to convert my Quicken 2017 program to Quicken SelfEmployed.  Intuit is lumping the 2 companys together and his name is even on my company in the list when I log into Intuit.  The 2 have to be separate.  Please help me fix it or I will have to abandon the SelfEmployed account I signed up for.
