You can reactivate your subscription to run payroll, @hkyu86.

 

The billing information may not be up to date, and that's why your account got suspended. You can choose to reactivate it either from your Desktop file, through the web, or from your My Account page.

 

You can go to the Employees menu, then to My Payroll Service, and then Account/Billing Information to activate it directly inside your Desktop file.

 

If through the web, you can log in to your QuickBooks My Account using your Intuit login and proceed to the Manage your QuickBooks page. 

 

In case you've received a cancelation email, you can click on the resubscribe button in the email to update your payment information.

 

Here's how to renew or reactivate your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription

 

After reactivating the subscription, make sure that you have the current version of QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to run and process payroll

We have followed every step and it still shows as suspended. How long does it take once the payment information is updated for the payroll to reactivate. It said 15 minutes but it has been hours and we have no other options because all updated payment info has been inputted and we followed all of the prompts for reactivation.

 

What a terrible service with zero REAL help when there is a problem. DO BETTER. HIRE REAL PEOPLE BECAUSE WE DO NOT LIKE YOUR FORUMS.

Allow me to provided a few information about the payroll service is suspended in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

The normal processing in updating the suspended account is within 24 hours. If the process is more than one day, I recommend contacting our payroll support team.

 

From there, they can look up your account and help you reactivating your payroll service. You can reach out to them by going to the Help menu in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software. Let me guide you how.

  1. Go to the Help menu or press F1 on your keyboard.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click the Contact us link under the Have a Question? window.
  4. Enter a short description of your concern and click Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us either Start messaging or Get a callback
