Join nowHello, @jackie52.
I'm here to help you in filing the additional contractor in QuickBooks Online.
You'll need to add first the contractor's name on the Payroll page. Then after that, you can now normally E-file the 1099 form. Let me show you how:
7. Pick the new contractor in the list and tap Finish preparing 1099s.
8. Select E-file for me.
For more information, check out this article: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online.
You can always check the form status by signing in to the 1099 E-File service website using your Intuit credentials. Then, click View past forms to see the returns.
I've added some pages about printing old vendor forms, adding clients, and the state's payroll tax regulations.
Let me know if you need more help. I'm just one post away. Keep safe!
Thank you!! I was getting confused because all of the contractors were showing up as well. I appreciate your response. I'm all set.
