I have an employee from this pay period that I want to write a paycheck for but do not want Quickbooks to do it. Do I have a choice if I have just run payroll?
If you've just run payroll, you can still go in and process a paycheck for an employee. Is there a reason you don't want the paycheck to go through QuickBooks? My concern is, if you don't, then the taxes for that check won't be accounted for, and that could cause issues down the road (which we certainly don't want to have happen).
