We can only add a specific amount QuickBooks Online Payroll. That said, we're unable to set this up to a percentage.
I'll take note of your suggestion and ensure to forward this to our product developers. They'll evaluate and might consider adding this option in the next product updates.
Though, there's a another way that you might consider doing. You can manually calculate the 90% of the net pay of your employee. Let's run payroll to check how much is the net pay of your employee.
Here's how you can do it:
Then, go back to the employee's setup to enter the 90% net pay. No need for you to enter the 10% since the system will automatically add it to the second account.
Also, you can run the Payroll Details report. This reports gives you a detailed information of your employee's payroll. Go to Reports on the left panel and enter Payroll Detail in the Search field.
