I received my first payment and was charged $61.88. What is that??

Was the payment in the vicinity of $1750 +/-? That would be the merchant service fee. You agree to it and is no different than if you independently contracted with VISA/MC/Discover although rates can vary.

Thank you for the question!  @john-pero is correct.  When you process a credit card transaction, there is a processing fee associated with that transaction.  The processing rates for QuickBooks Online are posted on the Payments page; here it is for your reference:
