I'm here to share some insights regarding transferring the save filings in QuickBooks Desktop. Right now, transferring saved filings is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop since this is dependent on the location of where the company file is stored.
Since you've upgraded to QuickBooks 2020 you may have changed your company file location. To access your saved forms, you'll need to manually pull them up if you still remember where the file is located. All the files you've have saved can still be found in folders on your hard drive.
To learn more about saving forms in QuickBooks Desktop, please refer to this article: Process, print, and save QuickBooks Desktop Payroll tax forms. Also, you may read through this article about moving files in QuickBooks desktop for your future reference: Move QuickBooks Desktop.
Also, I'm including this article to learn more about locating missing company files: Company file is missing or cannot be found.
Don't hesitate to drop me a reply below. I'll be more than willing to provide additional assistance. You have a wonderful day!
Are you serious, we are unable to transfer our files. I would have never upgraded to 2020. I just realized they were not there, when I went back to look at something. Luckily, I saved a copy on my old computer and a flashdrive.
