It seems my auto payroll is 1 month off. When my employees were paid on Feb 15, the payslip showed "pay from March 1 to March 15", not February. How to fix this?

I know a way on how you can fix the off-schedule payroll of your employees, dsanford.

You can pause the Auto Payroll for that pay period and manually pay your employees. Then, Auto Payroll will start again with your next pay run in QuickBooks Online (QBO.

Here's how to run a manual payroll:

  1. Click Workers on the left side menu.
  2. Choose Employees.
  3. Tick the Run Payroll tab and select Run payroll manually
  4. Enter the date, pay schedule, and edit any pay items of the payroll.
  5. Tap Preview.
  6. Hit Submit.

For more details about Auto Payroll, please check out this article: Turn on and manage your Auto Payroll.

I have a link here that provides you with articles about managing your employee's payroll: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/payroll-and-workers/07?product=QuickBooks%20Online.

Keep me in the loop if you need a hand with running payroll reports or any QBO related. Have a great weekend.
