My mileage tracking breaks up a trip into 5 or 6 small trips, why?

This may sound silly but are you by any chance getting stopped at longer than usual stoplights? Going through drive-through for coffee? Circling the block and thus going over where you have been? Driving a newer vehicle that shuts off at stop signs?

The scenarios mentioned by one of our Community Champions are most likely the reason why it's recorded as multiple trips, mark131. 

Please take note that QBO will based the mileage deduction on the total number of business trips. You just need to make sure that all of them are categorized as business trips so they're taken into account. Just tap on the trip and swipe left to categorize it as business.
