I'll be glad to help you manage your employee, matthew17.

QuickBooks generate payroll taxes and forms based on the employee's residence. Some states have reciprocity agreements that may require you to pay and file for each one. We can update your employee's address through the Workers menu.

Here's how:

  1. Click Workers from the sidebar menu.
  2. Select the Employees section.
  3. Choose the name of the employee.
  4. Under What are [Employee's name] withholdings? section, click the Pencil (Edit) icon.
  5. Update your employee's address.
  6. Hit Done.

By the time that you'll run payroll with the employee's updated address, the program will generate taxes for that state.

I've also included a couple of articles that will help you in managing your payroll:

You can reach out to me anytime if you have further questions or concerns. I'll keep an eye out on your response.
