Join nowMy client had an employee complete the W4 form as Head of Household with 0 exemptions. QuickBooks does not have HH as a choice. Only Single, Married, Married but withhold at higher rate, or Don't Withhold. What should she choose for this employee?
For the 2020 W4 QB does in fact offer Head of Household. Possibly you have not updated to the newest tax tables, which is version 22010. To check your update version go to Employee>Get Payroll Updates and if your version os a lower number select Update Now. Close and reopen QB and you should have in employee tax section the option to use 2020 W4 and that will give you the HOH option to check
