I am trying to do my payroll checks, but it is not deducting anything. How do I fix this?

Let's make sure your taxes are calculating, bulldogconstruction.


Lets start by downloading a payroll update to make sure the tax table is updated. Please follow these steps:


  1. Go to the Employees menu and click Get Payroll Updates.
  2. Click Update

After the update is complete, go back and recreate the paychecks. Here's how:


  1. Go back to the Payroll Center.
  2. Click Resume Scheduled Payroll or Pay Employees.
  3. Right click employee's name that's highlighted in yellow, then click Revert Paycheck

That will unsave the data you've entered before getting the tax table update. Then re-enter enter the number of hours and other payroll items to check if taxes are now deducting.
