Paystub

I have to ask my employer for a paystub every pay period. Is there a way things can be set up where a paystub automatically goes out  when payroll is done?

Paystub

Thanks for posting the Community space, @Mark99.

You can inform your employer to set up QuickBooks Workforce. Then, invite you, so you'll be able to view, print your pay stubs and W-2s online.

Here's how your employer can invite you:

  1. Go to the Workers or Payroll menu, and select Employees.
  • For a new employee, select Add an employee.
  • For an existing employee, select the employee’s name, then select Edit ✎ next to Pay.

       2. Add your employee's info, including their email address.

       3. Select the Invite this employee to view their pay stubs and W-2’s Online checkbox.

       4. Press Done.

You can provide this article to your employer for more details: Invite employees to see pay stubs and W-2s online.

Then, you'll receive an invitation through email to accept your Workforce invite. This invite is valid for 30 days from the day it was sent by your employer. I'll guide you how:

  1. Look for an email from Intuit Services(do_not_reply @intuit.com) with the subject "Finish setting up with [business name].
  2. Open the email and tick the Get access to paychecks link to accept the invitation.
  3. Create an Intuit account with your email and a password, or sign in with your existing account.

Once everything is set up, you can now have access to your paychecks:

  1. Go to workforce.intuit.com and sign in.
  2. Select Paychecks.
  3. View, download or print your latest paycheck or past paychecks.

See this article for more details on how to view your paychecks and W-2s online in QuickBooks Workforce.
