Quickbooks Enterprise 20.0 - Cannot Send Payroll Data

I have been trying to run Payroll for a while now through QuickBooks and have had to do it via a 3rd party service. I am trying to fix the payroll issue again. When I try to update payroll it tells me I have to send data since it has been a while. I try to send the Payroll Data using "Employees > Send Payroll Data." It makes the session and then starts uploading because I see network traffic on the computer but then it gives an unexpected error and crashes QuickBooks. Below is the error message as it appears in Windows event viewer:

An unexpected error has occurred in "Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Contractor 20.0":
PS_ERROR: Invalid Salary item on Paycheck with Payroll Service ID 4655

I have a feeling it is a certain paycheck that has an issue with it. I have searched online everywhere and have followed all the steps in the following link https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/regular-payroll/fix-psxxx-errors/00/186203 and have been unsuccessful in fixing this issue. The company file shows no corruption or problems when I do a verify or File doctor repair. We have tried this on the computer hosting the company file and multiple computers that connect to the host just to make sure the QuickBooks install is not broken on one of the computers. After all 9 steps we still have the Payroll issue and QuickBooks support phone lines are down. Live chat does not work either.

I understand that you've already tried to contact our support. However, I still suggest contacting them to handle your payroll update issue so they can further check the payroll items used on the paycheck. Checking the root cause of this requires tools, like screen sharing, that only our Customer Support team has.

Here's how to reach them:

Open QuickBooks.
Go to Help, then QuickBooks Desktop Help.
Choose Contact Us.
Give a brief description of your issue, then hit Continue.
Pick how you want to get contacted.

This has also happened to me today and I spent the entire day on phone with your technical support and they were unable to resolve the issue. Any other suggestions?

I've reviewed our ongoing or solved investigations and can confirm there's no reported case about this one.

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team again. They'll be able to pull up your accounts in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

Open QuickBooks.
Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
Select Contact Us.
Give a brief description of your issue, then select Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.
