Quickbooks online isn't giving me the option to enter payroll history. How do I enter prior payroll?

Entering historical payroll information in QuickBooks Online is only available for the current calendar year and if there are no paychecks created for the employee/s yet.

Here's how:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account. Go to the Workers tab at the left pane, then select Employees.
2. On the Employee's page, select the employee to open the information, then Enter prior pay details. 
3. Enter the necessary information.

If you've created paychecks already, I encourage reaching out to our Payroll Support team. This way, they'll be able to access your account securely and help you enter the information. To contact support:

1. Tap on Contact us from the Help menu.
2. Type-in a short description of your concern under the What can we help you with? section, then tap on Let's talk.
3. Choose a way to connect with a representative.
