Hi there, @miles5.

You can change your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) tax rate in your QBO to match it with your state. Doing so will accurately match your tax payment to what your state has. Let me guide you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Click Payroll Settings.
  3. Select the edit button of the State (Washington) Tax section.
  4. Locate the State (WashingtonUnemployment Insurance (SUI) Setup section.
  5. Click Change or Add new rate.
  6. Refer to the Washington's Unemployment ate and enter your new rate.
  7. Verify other details in this window then click OK and confirm the changes by clicking Done.

I also added a screenshot for additional reference.

To know more about the updated tax rates, check out this article: Payroll Tax Compliance Links.

If you have run payroll with the wrong SUI, I suggest contacting QuickBooks Customer Care team so that they can verify and resolve tax discrepancies.

Count me in if you need anything else. I'll be here to help. Take care.
