When updating your employee’s tax exemption, you’ll receive a prompt. It will tell you that when doing the process, we will also update the employee’s state taxes for the current tax year.
Note that this will not affect past payroll transactions. You'll have to update the paychecks through payroll adjustments. Additionally, you'll need to amend the tax forms you've previously filed.
