What if I don't want to use the e-services or direct deposit?

A pleasant day to you, @davismeat26.

You have the option to process payments, payroll, and file forms manually in QuickBooks Online if you don't want to use direct deposit or E-services.

To process a manual payroll, all you have to do is to create the employees' paycheck and print it. However, the payment procedure will depend on your agreement with the employees.

To do that:

  1. Go to Workers and choose Employees.
  2. Click Run Payroll.
  3. If you have more than one payroll schedule, select the schedule, then Continue.
  4. Select Preview payroll.
  5. Hit Preview payroll details or Submit payroll.
  6. Press on Finish Payroll.

After that print the paychecks by taking these steps below.

Let's start with setting up your paycheck printing preferences:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️ and choose Payroll Settings.
  2. In the Preferences section, press Paycheck Printing.
  3. Tick on Pre-printed QuickBooks-compatible voucher check stock.
  4. Select Print 2 stubs or Print 1 stub, then hit OK.

Once done, print them:

  1. Go to Workers, then click Employees.
  2. In the My Payroll section, hit on Paycheck List.
  3. Select the paychecks you'd like to print, then select Print.

Here are great resources that you can scan through for more details about this process:

When it comes to paying and filing your taxes, you'll have to print then sent the payment and forms directly to your agency. To give you in-depth information about this, please see this article: Pay payroll taxes electronically or manually

I'm always up for assistance, davismeat26. Just leave a reply below, and I'll make sure you're taken care of. Have a great day!
