Where do I set up Washington State Paid Family Medical Leave for the employees?

I'm happy to walk you through setting up the Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave in QuickBooks Online.

 

To do so, please follow the steps outlined below:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon at the right top, then select Payroll Settings.
  2. Choose State Taxes - WA.
  3. Scroll down to the Paid Family Medical and Leave Premium ER item.
  4. From the drop-down menu, choose the rate corresponding to your responsibility from the Employee & Employers rate section.
  5. Click OK.
