Re: Will I still be able to do a quarterly report if I cancel my Enhanced Payroll with Quickbooks...

Hi @rtunnell-txreic,

Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community. Let me share a few details before you cancel your Enhanced Payroll with QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.

QB Online will let you access your data file as a read-only for a period of one year from the cancellation date. After a year, QuickBooks will wipe out all your information including all data files.

I recommend paying any outstanding tax deposits, file any outstanding quarterly forms, and print necessary payroll reports before you cancel to avoid any inconvenience.

You can also reactivate your online payroll subscription if you'll need to pay employees/contractors or file year-end forms. For more information, please see our help article: Reactivate Account for Year-end Form Filing.

Feel free to post again if you need anything else. We're always glad to assist you. Have a pleasant day ahead!

I am in the same position. I have sold my business and so no longer have payroll but I will need to access certain components at the end of the tax year. I've done all the payments and filing so here's hoping nothing else comes up as I don't want to continuing paying for this every month when I don't require it.

Hello, @Victoria2015.

If you wish to access certain components at the end of the tax year, you may need to export your reports as early as possible. As mentioned by katherinejoyceO, QuickBooks will wipe out all of your information including all data files after a year.

Since the payroll subscription is already canceled, the reports generated may not be updated and may not be compliant to the IRS.

To learn more about what happens to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) data after cancellation, you can check this article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?.
