Hi there, sknollenberg,

You'll want to settle Indiana tax liabilities if they aren't paid yet in QuickBooks Online Payroll. The first step you need to take is pay it manually to the state. Then, record the payment to remove liabilities in the system.

The following steps will guide you through:

  1. Go to Taxes from the left navigation bar, then choose Payroll Tax.
  2. Click Pay Taxes.
  3. Hit Record payment besides the state tax.
  4. Select the bank used when you make the payment, then enter the payment date.
  5. Click Record payment.

You can also contact our QuickBooks Online Payroll Full Service Team. They can help record the payment for you.

Just a heads up, we have limited staffing and have reduced our support hours to 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday. We will resume normal hours as soon as possible due to due to COVID-19.

I've added this article: Pay and file your payroll taxes online to learn how to manage unpaid taxes in the system.

Let me know how this goes by clicking the Reply button or if there's anything else you need. I'm always glad to help.
