Resend Test Withdrawals

I'm trying to set-up direct deposit. It looks like our former bookkeeper started the process a few years back. My only option is to verify the test withdrawals that were sent back then. Our online banking transactions don't go back that far. Our paper statements are stored off-site for that period. How do I get the test withdrawals sent again?

Resend Test Withdrawals

Hello there, @PridePtg.

I'm here to help you activate direct deposit successfully.

For the security of your account, Intuit makes two small withdrawals of less than $1.00 each from the bank account you set for direct deposit. To continue with the set up, you'll need to check your bank account for the amounts and confirm them in QuickBooks. Once your bank is verified, Intuit automatically refund the 2 small debits within 7 business days from the original debit date.

It's been a while that your former bookkeeper started the direct deposit activation process. To verify the amounts, I suggest getting in touch with our QuickBooks Payroll Support. They can check the withdrawals or they have the chance to re-debit your bank to proceed with the process.

To contact support:

  1. Go to: https://payroll.intuit.com/support/contact/?infosrc=qs&service=16.
  2. Click on Contact US.
  3. Select Payroll.
  4. Click on View Contact Info.

That would get you in touch with our QuickBooks representative. For future reference about direct deposit activation, you may check this: Direct deposit requirements, signup, and activation for QuickBooks Desktop payroll.

Stay in touch if you have any other concerns. We're always here to help!
