SAVED FILINGS in the QuickBooks Payroll Module

Does anyone know how to reconnect the Payroll History File to QuickBooks payroll again?

Sometimes after a payroll update the filed section and even the forms to file section can be blank or minimal. Usually when I see that just clicking on Forms>Make a form active corrects both sections.

 

Are you on the newest update? 22011 Try logging out (close your company) and restart

SAVED FILINGS in the QuickBooks Payroll Module

My problem is that the links are gone. I sent my file to QBOCARESUPPORT because is would not verify data before backup. Thay have told me they cannot put the SAVED FILINGS back into my file that I will just have to use the folder with the History in it.
 
I was hoping someone could help me reconnect to that folder.

Hi there, @Brainechild.


The possible cause might be the file was renamed and transferred.  You can still access history and manually open the form from there.


When creating your payroll tax form moving forward, you can mark the Automatically create an archive when I e-file or print checkbox. An archive is stored in PDF format on your computer. The location also of these forms is the same as your company file.
