Self service payroll pays florida unemployment form rt-6. where is the form/info so i can enter it for florida?

Hi there, @madonnawashere

Thank you for reaching to the community.

Let me walk through on how to get the RT-6 form on QuickBooks. RT-6 form is mailed each quarter to employers who are not required to file electronically. Employers who voluntarily file electronically for at least two consecutive quarters will not receive a paper Form RT-6.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Taxes tab
  2. Choose Payroll Tax.
  3. Under Forms section, select Quarterly Forms
  4. Hit the RT-6 Form link.
  5. Press Payroll Tax
  6. Select the date range of the form.
  7. Unchecked the File electronically box, if you haven't enrolled for e-services, click View button.

Once finished, you can view your RT-6 Form. Though you can also print it. In QuickBooks using Adobe Reader as the default program for printing.

For more information and detailed about RT-6 Form, you can go through this Florida State Agency article.

I recommend also visit the Florida Payroll Tax Compliance article for additional information.

Please get back to me if you have other questions about payroll. I'm just a post away. Have a great day!

Hi Danaleighinfl,

The Taxes section is default to all QuickBooks Online plans. Let’s check to see why you don’t see it, so you can pull up your RT-6 form after.

You can sign in to QuickBooks in a private window. This won't save your browsing history to cache, and it's a good initial step to check browser issues. If you can see the taxes tab, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, you can try other browsers to isolate the case.

Please let me know how it goes.
