Join nowHi, my regional payroll service provider was acquired by ADP & I'm now thinking about adding payroll to my QBE installation.
I can't get a straight answer from Intuit on the ability of QBE to send an electronic file to Capital Group: American Funds after each payroll to show employees, SSNs, salaries, deferrals, matches, etc.
I know I can probably put together a QB report to export to Excel, make any changes needed by American Funds, and then transmit it, but I wanted to see if there was already some type of bridge created for this.

Glad you're here, @mbutts4901,
We currently don't have a bridging tool to transfer payroll data from QuickBooks to American Funds. You must have a third-party tool that integrates with both programs to complete this action.
What you can do in QuickBooks is export a customized report that has all the information required by the agency.
Pull up a Payroll Summary report to get the wage detail per employee. Here's how:
If you'd like to view the report again without going through all the customization, use the Memorize button at the top. To access them, go to Reports menu and select Memorized Report
To know more creating this report, please check out this article: Create a payroll summary report.
While the said report doesn't have the employee details such as SSN and other contact information, use the Employee Contact List. Here's how:
If you have any other issues or concerns, please let me know in the comment section. I'm always here to help. Have a lovely week!
