Set up employees VAC hours

When I enter the multiplier for per hours worked, QB changes my number.  For example, i entered 0.11062 for hours earned per hour worked and QB changed it to 0.11056.  Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Set up employees VAC hours

Hello mgammon,

QuickBooks Desktop uses an industry-standard routing method to track fractions of an hour.

If the number entered yields a fraction when multiplied by 3600, the system rounds the Hours accrued per hour paid value to the closest number that yields a whole number when multiplied by 3600. That's the reason why the system keeps on entering 0.11056 hours.

You can't enter the 0.11062 hours, but instead use the recommended one.
