(Solved) Direct Deposits Not Processing

Solved - can't find a way to delete my post, all of the paychecks processed yesterday just showed up in online banking...

 

Help!  I processed direct deposit commission paychecks yesterday, well before the 5pm deadline, and none are showing up as being deducted from our checking account, so none of those independent contractor/employees were paid.  I spoke with our bank and they say the issue has to be on the QBO side.

 

I don't see anything posted for current issues today (12/1/2021).

Hi, @ sharon108. Let me help you with your query.
 
If your lead time is Next-day, employees can expect their pay on the next banking day after you submit payroll. 

 

To check the payroll status, these are the steps:

  1. Go to Payroll menu and select Employees.
  2. Click Paycheck list.
  3. From the Status column, you’ll see the status of the paycheck:
  • Scheduled: we have everything we need to send this check to the bank and pay this employee.
  • Processed: the employee’s paycheck info was already sent to the bank and the employee will be paid by the end of the day.
  • Returned: there is a problem with your employee’s bank account and couldn’t pay them via direct deposit.
  • Cancelled: for this specific paycheck, Direct Deposit was not included. If you see no status displayed, it means that a paper check was issued.

You can always contact our Payroll support team to further help you view your direct deposit status.
