Join nowI've been looking for how to get my client's monthly state payroll deposit to pay electronically and not be manual. When I check Settings, Payroll Settings, Taxes and Forms, it is set to pay automatically. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks.

I did as you suggested. For anyone interested, the reason is that this particular state (West Virginia) is not set up for Eservices. Intuit is waiting on response from them for making this available. So to anyone else who might have this problem -- it might be because of the state taxing agency. Thanks, Ryan_M for the help!
Hi @DS127,
If the settings on your client's QuickBooks Online (QBO) company show up as an online submission but it appears Manual, then I suggest you contact our Technical Support team for further assistance.
See this article for the steps: Contact Payroll Support. Take note of our Technical Support team's hours of operation, so you know when they're available.
You can also keep this article for reference: Pay and file payroll taxes online. It's a detailed guide on how you can pay your Federal and State taxes online.
Feel free to tag me in a comment below if you have any other questions about paying payroll taxes online in QBO. I'll be around to have your back.
