Termination check total is more than usual salary due to PTO payout. QB will not calculate pay over usual salary amount. What to do?

When a salaried employee is cashing out sick/vacation/PTO, add it to the paycheck using an hourly type sick or vacation item. When you do this, use the salaried employee's imputed hourly rate of pay.

For example, if the employee makes $1000 a week, and 40 hours of PTO is equal to a week off, then the imputed rate is $1000/40 = $25 per hour.
