Termination check

Hello i cant seem to find On the Home page, select create an unscheduled check where is this even at????

Termination check

Hello there, @mariniaellett.

 

Let me help you to create a termination check for an employee.

 

In QuickBooks, you can't create a check with a date in the past. This is the only available check dates that fall after your last check date and before your next payday.

 

Here's how to create unscheduled check:

  1. Select Workers in the left navigation bar, then Employees.
  2. Click Run payroll.
  3. Find the employee you want to pay, then select Create another check.
  4. Enter employee compensation.
  5. Confirm the pay period and check date.
  6. Select Preview Payroll, then click Submit payroll.
  7. Hit on Finish payroll.
