I'm glad to help you to access your account in QuickBooks.
You need to ask your previous treasurer to update the email address or invite you as a new user.
Once done, your invited user will get an email notification from [email address removed]. They'll need to click the Let's go! link, then sign in.
Also, you can check out this article: Add, delete, or change user access. It guides you through changing the role of your existing user.
However, if you're using the Advanced version of QuickBooks Online, you can add and manage custom roles.
