The payroll tax center upcoming taxes lists taxes that are not owed or already paid. How do I clean up?

Greetings, @jackneubauer.

 

You can record the tax payments made to each payroll tax liability. I can guide you in doing so.

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Choose the Payroll Tax tab.
  3. Click the View All link. 
  4. Select the Record Payment link. 
  5. From the Bank Account drop-down, pick the account you use in paying the tax liability. 
  6. Enter the date you actually paid the tax liability.
  7. Review the payment details.
  8. Click the Record Payment button.
  9. Choose Skip For Now.

You can repeat the same steps until you completely clear all your paid taxes. You can read through this article for more detailed steps: Recording prior Pay payroll taxes manually.

 

Once you have the tax liability, you can archive the tax form for future use and reference.
