The red alert error means the selected pay date is within a filed period or that your employees' profiles need attention before processing payroll. You'll need to update your employees' details and address any missing or incorrect information as indicated by the alerts.
You'll also be able to know the error message to identify the specific issue by prompting to run payroll. An example of error message is shown below:

If you're seeing alerts from each of your employees, you'll need to update their information. Here's how:
- On the left menu, hover over Payroll and select Employees.
- Look for employees with an alert beside their name and open that employee's profile.
- Address the employee's missing or incorrect details by looking for the section that needs attention. Example image below:

- Enter the necessary details and click Save.
The missing numbers from the sheet also happens when there's an error and you can't proceed with running the payroll.
After paying your employees, you can print paychecks or pay stubs in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
