Thanks for visiting the Community, @grecomargaret.

 

If you give your employee a commission for sales, the commission rate and earnings of a commission-eligible inventory are used to determine the commission.

 

First, you'll have to set the commission rates per employee:

 

  1. Open the Employee menu, choose Employee List.
  2. Highlight the Employee and click on Edit Employee.
  3. Fill in the Commission % field with the rate you’d like to set up.
  4. Hit Save.

Then, ensure to make items eligible for commission:

 

  1. Open the Inventory menu, select Item List.
  2. Highlight the item, then hit Edit on the upper right.
  3. In the Misc and Shipping section, put a check on Earn Commission.
  4. Hit Save.

Lastly, if you want to keep track of your employees' commission, follow these steps:

 

  1. From the Reports menu, click on Employees, then hit Commissions.
