Trying to do the quarterly 941 return. However, their is a message that states that "this form will be available soon. Please check back later." Why does it say this?

Let me share some information about the message you received when trying to prepare your 941 return.

The message saying "This form will be available soon. Please check back later" means that the 941 form for the second quarter is not yet available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We are still in the process of preparing them and we assure you that it will be available soon.

Once the form is ready, QuickBooks will automatically sync the update to your account and that includes the latest 941 form.

Will this be available before the end of the month so we do not have a penalty for late filing with the IRS?
