This is not the service we want you to experience, @Skyinvest.
When you process a direct deposit payroll, you'd receive an email notification. This is sent automatically once your payroll is successfully submitted to the account's primary contact. I understand how important it is for you to keep your employee's payroll information safe and secured. Rest assured, we have taken the utmost regard to safeguard this type of information. You can find the latest information from Intuit on how we protect your data and how you can protect yourself from email scams and other security risks: Intuit Online Security Center.
On the other hand, the ability to manually turn off the email notification is currently not available. You'd have to cancel your direct deposit subscription or payroll subscription. If you're using an assisted payroll, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support team. You can send a request through your Help menu, so one of our representatives can reach you. Here's how:
- Click the Help menu, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Click the Contact Us button.
- Enter a short description of your concerns under the Ask a question field.
- Click Continue.
- Select Get a callback.
- From here you can choose to schedule a callback for a time that is convenient for you.
Just a heads-up, we have limited staffing and have reduced our support hours to 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday due to COVID-19. Also, they're open between 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM Pacific Time on Saturdays. You can browse this article to learn more about the different types of support we offer at Intuit and its availability: Support hours and types.
