Yes, this is correct, you should not receive any W-2 forms if you're employer process a check and a bill in QuickBooks.
However, if they process payroll inside QuickBooks, you can get W-2 forms even if you are exempted from Social Security and Medicare.
If this is not the case, I suggest to let your employer contact our payroll team to process a correction so that you can receive a W-2 form. They have tools to access their account in a protected place.
Here's how to contact:
- Click the Help button, then choose Contact Us.
- Enter the concern in the description field, then hit Let's Talk.
- Choose either Start messaging or Get a callback.
- Complete the needed information, then tap Confirm my call or Send a message.
