We have 3 employees that have been set up in QB in 2020 under the 2020 W4, that are currently getting $0.00 withheld from each paycheck. These employees are making from $38,000 to $55,000 annually. On the W4 they checked Single or Head of household and they showed from $2,000 to $8,000 on line 3 as Claim Dependents. Their paycheck each week processes with $0.00 federal tax withholdings. This does not seem to be correct. How can I confirm that this is correct and that we do not need to withhold federal income taxes from these earnings.

Hello,

I would check the IRS form and tables.  https://www.irs.gov/publications/p15t

Part of it also depends how often they are paid.
