We have all our business accounts with 1 bank. 1 account for expenses/income; 2nd for payroll company to sweep $ to pay Net wages/payroll taxes. How do I record transfer

I’m here to help share information on how to do bank transfer in QuickBooks Online.

Transfer feature is the easiest way to transfer funds and to recognize the bank register. However, if you’ve used a check to transfer the funds, then you can use the Check feature so you can record a check number.

You can use any of the following to create transfer between two accounts:

  • Transfer
  • Check
  • Imported Bank Transaction
  • Journal Entry
