I'm here to share some information on what is the cost when processing credit card and direct deposit, lawrencelawnland.

For credit card, the rate depends on the payment method. You can either Swiped, Keyed, Invoiced, or ACH (Bank transfer). You can check these articles for more information:

As for the direct deposit, it's free. You'll just have to make sure that you've set up either your employees or your vendor.

This is very misleading.  Everyone here got so excited to do Direct Deposit for payroll since THIS ARTICLE said it was free.  Going into QB Desktop and trying to set it up however... it's $40 a month and $2 per employee.  This is over 3 times the expense of printing checks and putting them in envelopes. 

Yes, and you could order direct deposit through your bank for much much less as well.
