Payroll Details is the report you're looking for. It contains the employee's salary information (tax, salary, vacation and sick) and taxes. To pull it up, just go the report page and search for Payroll Details Report.

I am an employee whose employer uses Quickbooks Workforce for our payroll. The format has recently changed and I can no longer see my sick and annual leave balances on my page when I log in. Has the employee's ability to see those figures been removed?

The employee still has the ability to view the sick and annual leave balances in QuickBooks Workforce. You would just need to download the payslip for you to see your desired figures.

 

Also, you may need to confirm your employer about the accessibility of your payroll.

Can you track what days your employee called in sick in quickbooks payroll? IE...can we run reports on sick/vacation days throughout the year to find out exactly what days the employee took vacation/sick days?

Right now, tracking the exact days that employee took the vacation or sick leave isn't available in the Time Off Report in QuickBooks Online. The following information will only be shown:

 

  • Sick limit
  • Sick available
  • Sick used
  • Vacation limit
  • Vacation available
  • Vacation used
