At Intuit, we make sure we are compliant by the IRS and your state agency's requirements and standards to avoid any penalties due to a variety of errors and omissions related to withholding. Currently, QuickBooks only allows a 10 digit format (example: 9999999-999 or 9999999999) for the account number.
