When does quickbooks online payroll file California payroll tax returns (DE 9 and DE 6) and how can I check and print filed forms?

Here to give you the details regarding the filing times for California's DE9 and DE6 forms. 

 

The DE9 and DE6 forms are available for filing in QuickBooks Online Payroll. It takes time for the system to successfully submit it to the state agency. To check the status after submitting, you can go to the Payroll Tax page: 

 

  1. Go to Taxes, then click the Payroll Tax tab.
  2. Click the Filings button. 
  3. Select Archived forms.
  4. Choose Quaterly Tax Forms, then specify the form on the second drop-down menu. 
  5. Check the E-file Status.

This is also the page where you can check and print the filed forms.
