Hi there, @jim5040.

Allow me to share some clarifications about the penny rounding differences on paychecks.

Are you processing a paycheck for a salaried employee? If so, these differences are due to rounding for taxes that are calculated at exact rates (such as Social Security and Medicare). There's nothing to worry about these small variations because our system ensures that the employee's YTD totals for those taxes are always correct.

Also, the government understands rounding discrepancies and ignores penny differences. To give you more insights about the rounding difference on paychecks, you may read through this article: Why do I occasionally notice penny rounding differences?

If you encounter a big amount of discrepancy due to the rounding amounts, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team to isolate the issue.
