Where can I find the completed Ohio form IT-501? It is not showing in Archived forms and filings

I emailed the Department of Taxation and she stated it was filed EFT so it will not show in our Gateway history, but I also cannot find the form in Quickbooks. So outside of speaking with her, I have no proof our forms are being filed.

Where can I find the completed Ohio form IT-501? It is not showing in Archived forms and filings

Glad to see you here in the Community, monica@rogersohi.

We can find the form in the monthly payroll tax forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Select the Payroll Tax tab.
  3. Click the Forms tab.
  4. Select the forms you want to view, print, or save.

I've also added this link about payroll tax compliance: Ohio Payroll Tax Compliance.

Please leave a comment below if you have other questions. I'm always here to help. Take care!

Where can I find the completed Ohio form IT-501? It is not showing in Archived forms and filings

When I click on taxes my only options are Payments and Filings. When I've clicked on Filings then Archived forms and filings and it is only showing the SD-101 forms, not my IT-501.

Thanks for the clarifications, monica@rogersohi.

Allow me to share with you some troubleshooting steps to isolate this issue. I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account on a private window (incognito) and view your Ohio form IT-501 from there.

This way, we can easily identify if the issue you’re having is caused by stored cache files. The browser saves data cache to help load the page faster. When piled up, this causes issues and affects your QBO performance.

Using a private window doesn’t save any cache files. Thus, this can help us verify the issue easily. To start, here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use in opening a private window:

  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browser)
  • Press keys: Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)

If you’re able to view your Ohio form IT-501, I’d suggest clearing your regular browser's cache. This will delete all saved data files from your browser and refresh the system. If the issue persists, try using other supported browsers. That way, we can check if this is a browser-integrated issue.

In case you need to print your tax forms in QBO, you can refer to the steps provided in this article: View and print payroll tax forms.

I’ll be around if you have other concerns managing your payroll taxes in QBO. Keeping you in working order is my top priority. Have an awesome day ahead!
